Sales Training
The sales training is comprised of:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes each year.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes annually.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) different sales courses provided for General Managers semiannually, totaling 4 ½ training days, focusing on sales culture and everyday sales operation.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians includes:

  • Furnace and air conditioning tune-up procedural training in spring and fall
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ biannually
  • Continual NATE certification and specialty programs as needed

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in further training through the use of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc curriculum to better train our technical personnel.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to give support, resources, and framework for managing a business from the P&L aspect.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times annually, participate in outbound calling through a one (1) day program. In this course we study heating, ventilation, and air conditioning basics, what drives people to purchase, calling techniques, scripts, customer purchasing signs, and overcoming customer objections.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training offered. On the job training provided by the General Manager and relevant staff in the office.
